Vinn expands to Norway and opens up in Oslo. This is prompted by an increased demand for specialists in technology and digitization as the country needs to move from a resource-based to a knowledge-based economy. Moreover, today’s situation increases the need for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Norway displays a tremendous drive. There are lots of skilled people seeing the need for change and wanting to influence their own and Norway’s future. These are perfect conditions for our business model and basic idea – to attract the keenest entrepreneurs and specialists.
We started up during the financial crisis 2008 and has since built up 18 startups. Today the group consists of approximately 180 specialists in 12 different companies.
History repeats itself, and now we see that lots of skilled specialists are available and prepared to take the next step in their career. We have proved that small, flexible companies is a successful concept that attracts the right kind of people and customers, who realize the strength of the way we combine entrepreneurship with innovation and expertise.
We aim to contribute to faster and better development toward a green and sustainable transition for the Norwegian economy. The first step is to build a strong organization, and currently it looks like the first companies will focus on life science and medical technology, ocean-based energy and agriculture.
With many different companies in our group it is possible for us to offer individual customers a wide range of expertise, as demonstrated by our collaboration with Polestar that involves four of our companies. We grow with customers demanding results. This is something we look forward to do in Norway as well.
Our objective has always been to build the most innovative, outstanding and personal companies. Not the biggest, perhaps, but the most fun to work with. The aim is to be the best, while maintaining the flexibility and agility required to adapt.
